Hello all 🙂
I've got a problem with Offline Mode since few weeks.
I saw that when the phone is rebooted with Offline mode activated, spotify had disconnected the session.
So OK click on "Connection" and he asks for turn off the Offline mode. So OK again, but after no music could be read ! Files are always here cause of XXX GO used but no read possible..
After three tries of reboot and synchronisation of one playlist, it says "you have reached the limit of 3 devices". Into my account i saw 3 times "Android phone" at the same date ! I'm not enough rich to have 3 Android phones 😛
This bug is happened when i have tried to Sync a third device (other computer). I have deleted all devices into account but it still annoying me. I have deleted files on Android in Application parameters, reboot, try to create an username instead of facebook connection.. I deleted Spotify application on my Android Phone but always nothing changed.
I know Application Developpment is not so easy, but if I paid Spotify it's for have no pub and for Offline mode.. So please, I need your help 🙂 No music is not possible, i've began to sing in my shower because there too much silence.. I assure it's so bad for my neighbourhood 😉
Thanks you in advance,
Did you go to Spotify.com and signed out of all your devices in account settings? There's a three device limit per account and you can remove the devices there. Hope this helps 🙂
Hello ! Thanks for your answer 🙂
So the deconnection at Spotify.com works only if all devices are connected to Internet at the same moment you click.. But it's done ! I've got four devices on Spotify and all are disconnected.
Next step I delete playlist in offline Mode at Spotify.com.
Next step I deleted data's application on Android, and deleted application on my Ipod (didn't find where delete datas :p)
Next step i will connect again all my devices to Spotify, and sync 3 of them into offline mode ! We'll see if it works or not..
Maybe we have to disconnect all of them in same time when this bug appear..
I'll accept your post as solution in 2 days when i'll see that it works after reboot, offline mode -> online mode 🙂
Thanks again and a good end of day !
Hope, this afternoon when i reboot my Phone.. and crash ! lol
This times got pictures of what i did exactly ! Sorry it's in French 😉
Step 1 : After a reboot, i open Spotify and obtain this, I had never seen this before last week ! Usual it connects me at phone's start.. (Android widget of Spotify didn't work too after reboot, i need to open the application directly)
Step 2 : i click on "Connection" and he asks me for the desactivation of the Offline Mode => this message appears twice. I need to quit Spotify and restart it to connect successfully.
Step 3 : when i look in my "Playlists", the "Dub.Inc" one is not synced whereas before the reboot it was ! And proof in step 4..
Step 4 : when i look in "Parameters" of applications, i see this.. So i do not understand lol 😛 My playlist is here, in Exceptionnal quality.
So as this bug was crazy, i tested on my ipod touch 4 with another version of Spotify. I synced it at the same moment as the Android. You see that after the reboot, playlist is always here ! It's not my account but other thing.. I've got a 64 GO memory card µSD maybe due to that ?! Card is here since one year and no problem detected on it.
If someone can help, you'll welcome 🙂
Try that button that means Clear Data on the 4th screenshot then login again. I never had that problem before but Clearing Data always fixes everything. Then, redownload the songs. If you encounter problems when you do things such as when rebooting, you get this problem, avoid it. Avoid things that may cause problems until it's fixed if it's a bug. That's what I do all the time when I encounter problems that I don't know how to fix. Redownloading songs is a pain, though. Hope this helps 😄
Hello 🙂
Yeah but i've already tested that solution..
Look at my second post

So now i don't know how to resolve this.. Avoir to reboot is not more possible with Android than Windows lol he kept our informations in memory for reload faster. This afternoon i launch "Clinometer" and it freeze my phone, for example lol In this case no choice to reboot and no choice to avoid it 😉
So thanks for help and time passed with me 😉 i can't accept your post as solution because for me it's not but if someone encountered same problem, do not hesitate ! 😄
Ok, I hope your problem gets fixed soon 🙂
