Device not compatible

Device not compatible

I am trying to install the spotify app after a reset but I get the "device not compatible error". I tried playing music using the web browser (chrome, updated) but I am being constantly redirected to the playstore where I get the error message.

Does this mean that it is not possible to use spotify any more and therefore I should cancel the subscription?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

 

In this case, can you let us know the exact make/model and OS of your device along with the Spotify version you can see on the App store?

 

On another note, we'd suggest checking if you have some updates available on your devices. If yes, make sure to update it to see if you notice any difference.

 

Lastly, we'd recommend to check out this article in which you can check if your device is compatible with Spotify.
