Before I read a few posts about the same problem but it just doesnt work.
I have a Problem with the synchronization of my local music(Windows) to my Android device.
I have tried it several times after deleting the app and all downloaded files on Android. It's still not working.
My phone is in the same WLAN as my PC. Also I have tried it by connecting it by USB.
The model is an One Plus Two with Android 5.
The OS of my PC ist Windows 10.
The problem occured after i switched from my Nexus 5 devide to the OnePlus Two.
Befor all was fine and it worked on Android 5.
Some ideas what the problem could be or how I can get my local music to Spotify on my phone.
Btw: My account is premium 🙂
Hi, no it doesnt use cyanogen mod anymore. It has another OS called "Oxygen OS" but all based on Android. I check the permissions and all is accepted. Are there any other solutions that may help me? It is very annoying, having many good songs not in spotify and use another player..

i did all what was writen in your signature. i made a screenshot. it looks like this, i just startet downloading after reboot, clear..
Hey all,
Long time Premium and Android user.
my Nexus 5x was downloading synced Local Files (from my laptop, mp3, Windows 10) just fine until I switched to a new account, also Premium.
I have uninstalled/reinstalled at least once. I have deleted local cache several times. Nothing so far has worked. It can't be the phone, as like I said, local files synced on a different account.
Soooo, I'm pretty sure it's not anything on OUR end.
ahem.
ahhemmm ahem
ahh sorry I'm allergic to bad customer service and outdated help pages.
ETA: I even tried allowing the app permissions to "Storage" in device app settings. this is AFTER uninstalling, deleting cache/folders, and reinstalling. AGAIN.
Hey guys, guess what, it's probably your computer's firewall.
Of course this answer wasn't found on any Help pages. Stumbled upon a user's suggestion on a post from 2014.
I realized mylaptop or Spotify thought my wifi was Public and therefore was blocking the connection. My local files are now downloaded to my Android after allowing a Public connection.
sigh.
Good luck.
