Displaying "You're Offline" despite being connected to WiFi

Displaying "You're Offline" despite being connected to WiFi

So I was about to listen to search for a song but then Spotify says try again because there's no internet connection and I am running on 4G internet connection with a WiFi speed of 30mbps so I'm not sure why this is happening

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to no avail but nothing happened except that this time I cannot log in anymore.

Please fix this issue thank you. I would like to provide some screenshots but I was told I'm not allowed to. I'm using Samsung Galaxy A22 5G.

And I can't even log in to my Spotify account via web because it says that the site can't be reached.

Hey @Airi17,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

According to the information you shared, it looks like 2 separate issues. First, we'd recommend taking a look at this article to make sure we've covered the basics.

In case the issue persists, we understand you've already tried some troubleshooting steps including reinstalling, but to be sure that we're on the same page - did you use the steps for a clean reinstall mentioned in this article? They are more thorough than a regular one. That way you can make sure the cache is not causing this issue.

Also, would you mind checking if the issue happens when connecting to a different Wi-Fi network? If you don't have another network to test it, you can ask a friend or family member to activate their hotspot and connect to it.

Lastly, there's no problem including a screenshot in your response, just make sure it doesn't contain personal information like account numbers, credit card numbers, emails, or other similar. Taking this into account, if the issue persists, could you send us a screenshot where we can see the error you're getting logging in?

We'll be on the lookout.
