Do local files synced to Android from PC count against 3333 limit?

Do local files synced to Android from PC count against 3333 limit?

If I have local files on my PC, drop those files into a playlist, and sync that playlist on my Android phone for offline use, does that count against my 3333 offline sync limit on my phone?

Thanks!

(Extra credit if the answer to above question is no: If I already have an album synced on my phone and then sync my PC local version, does Spotify know the original sync no longer counts against my total?)

No, local files do not count against your offline sync limit. You can sync however many local files your device can handle.

I'm honestly not sure what happens if you have already synced the Spotify version of a track to your phone before syncing the local one from the computer. I tend to undownload and redownload if I'm wanting to make sure a local track takes the place of the other. If nothing else you could always take the track off the playlist temporarily and add it back to force a resync of the song.
