Download of local files stops!?

My Question or Issue

I wanted to download local files from my computer to my phone. They are all mp3 and I can play them all on my computer. I put them into playlists, switched on my phone and it downloaded about 90% of the songs, then it just stopped. Every time I close and open the app on my phone the download of the remaining songs starts, but stops again after about 10 seconds without having downloaded anyhing. I retried this many times and sometimes one song is downloaded before it stops, but thats in about 5% of my tries so it would take me weeks with this "method". I have enough space on my phone (11.5 GB) and, as i said, the "problem songs" have no technical difference to those that were downloaded without problems.

What can I do?

Welcome to the community!

Could you try moving the location of your local files on your desktop, and then adding that new location as a source in the Local Files settings? You can check out the steps adding local files here.
