Download to SD card

I have a nokia 6. I just got a 200gb SD card and I would like to store my Spotify music on it because the internal storage of my phone is not big enough. I have tried downloading older versions of Spotify that were supposed to allow you to change the storage location in the settings, but the option is not there. I have also filled up the internal memory of my phone completely with the largest apps I could find so that the only place to store the songs would be the SD card. It still didn't work.

Is there any way to do it without rooting my phone?
