Downloaded offline songs aren't playing

Hey there, I can't play my downloaded offline songs. I downloaded the whole playlist, the green arrow is next to the playlist, and Spotify is in offline mode. But even then, whenever I'm trying to play a song, it'll play for maybe 5-20 seconds before it stops and won't start again. What's going on with that? How do I fix it?

That doesn't sound quite right.

Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.

Okay @Nico, I finally got around to redownloading all the music. Now it won't even start playing a song. Same criteria as above, all downloaded, green arrow, and set to offline mode. What now?

Hey @Bbender96!

To do this in-app:

• Click Edit (PC) or Spotify (Mac).
• Select Preferences.
• Scroll down to Local Files.
• Deselect all sources.
• Close, and restart the app.
• Select all local file sources once again

1. Exact Device (e.g. iPhone 5S)

2. Exact operating system (e.g. iOS 8.3)

3. Spotify app version installed (2.2.0)

Hey @Bbender96

Could you try the following and let us know how you get on?

1: Uninstall Spotify

2: Soft reset your iPhone by holding the home + power button for a few seconds (your phone will restart)

3: Install Spotify

4: Re-sync your playlist

Hey @Pete, I'm in the process of doing that right now, just waiting on the songs to download. I wanted to mention that after I reinstalled Spotify for the first time (this would be the second) and downloaded the songs, some of them would play and some of them would not.

My songs won't play offline. Everytime i get online it starts to download again. It repeats this everytime i get online. I have more than 600mb of space on my phone so I don't think that is the problem.
