Downloaded playlists keeps redownloading

I use a HTC One Max.

I've noticed that the app removes the playlists already donwloaded and redownloads them when i restart the app. Basically spotify is constantly downloading playlists. This happens EVERYDAY.

I've tried switching devices, but also another HTC, ie Butterfly S, but same problems reoccur.

I noticed this after upgrading to the new sense software. Is there a fix for this?

Hey!

Do you have any task-killing or cache-clearing apps that could be wiping the synced tracks?

I'd also suggest carrying out a clean reinstallation then re-syncing your playlists.

Let us know if the issue occurs after this.

Hi, I've searched for a fix to this now for a few weeks as I am having the same problem. I have no task killing apps and I have tried multiple re-installs, wiping cache etc as suggested in other posts but my offline content re-downloads daily for no obvious reason. Another post suggested cancelling account and signing up for a new one as the only fix. Is this the only option?

I have a Galaxy S4, 64gb card and had loads of trouble free use before this started.

Any help appreciated before I resort to wiping my account and starting again.

Are you running a custom ROM? 

Can you also check your WiFi settings to make sure it's 'Always Enabled' and also any powersave settings on the phone are not set to turn off data if the screen is off or after a certain period of time.

All of the above can halt the download process and cause it to re-trigger next time you connect.

Hi thanks for the suggestions. I'm not running anything custom (wouldn't know how too!) but I checked all of the settings you suggest and they are all OK.

The problem is that all of my offline lists download OK but when I go to use them the next day they are not available offline and my phone starts downloading them again automatically.
