Downloaded songs

I want the songs that I download to show up in my music player of choice weather it be the stock android player or a 3rd party player that one feature alone that I could not do ended my choice for premium subscription if u can get this to work I know several people who would buy premium

Hi. The spotify's model is different from other services like itunes store where you can actually buy songs. Spotify is a streaming service which users have to pay in a monthly basis for listening to any music they want. This is sort of like renting music for a month or borrowing music from someone (with cost).

Since the music is not actually being bought, you cannot do some things with them, there are some restrictions. Yes you can download music (offline mode) but you cannot use those files with another app to play them. Spotify is mainly a streaming service and they provide an offline mode to allow users use it even with no connection. This way when you become not premium, you lose automatically all privileges and you cannot take the music with you. This is why you cannot download music and use it on another media player.

This is the spotify's model and is different from selling music where users buy music, download the music files and they do whatever they want with those files like playing them in any app they want, converting them in any format they want, transferring to another devices, etc.

I understand that but wouldn't it be able to work were it shows up in other media player but the songs be protected to any modification and if the Spotify app was Uninstalled that the songs would also be removed. I know those things are possible as of some other music apps do it. It's just a suggestion because I really like Spotify I just don't want to use to apps to play music from my current library and your library. For the time being what service would you recommend then were I can do that as iTunes let's u any suggestions please and thank you
