Downloading Local File Songs

I've been trying to get some songs I uploaded from local files from my pc on to my phone for a while now. I followed the instructions to get it done but all that happens is that the phone downloads the regular songs and not the ones from the local files. 

I've tried all of the usual fixes that the page says to try: same Wi-Fi, app up to date, etc. But none of them work. When I press the download button the songs that are form local files just stay greyed out and don't have the green arrow to say they have been downloaded.

We hope you don’t mind us replying now as we just stumbled upon this thread. 

If the songs are grayed out, they might be in an unsupported format. We'd suggest you check this article and give the steps mentioned there a go.
