Downloading over 4g while wifi is active

Solved!

Downloading over 4g while wifi is active

Hello,

I have Download using cellular set to off and had my wifi on my phone turned off for some reason. I reactivated my wifi on the phone, and Spotify started downloading tracks over what I thought was wifi. However, within a few minutes I burned through my entire month's allotment of data usage, which suggests that Spotify was using the cellular network even though wifi was enabled. I could only get the process to stop by turning the wifi on my phone off.

Here are my phone specs:

Droid Turbo 2, Android 6.0

Has anyone else had the problem of Spotify downloading data over cellular when wifi is activated? I'm afraid to turn wifi for my phone on now.

Your suggestions seems to have worked. I wonder what caused the problem - I'd hate for it to happen again. I went over on my data cap because of it.
