Downloads goes correctly to SD then switch to internal memory

Hi guys,
I run spotify on my note 4. At the beginning everything looked perfect: I had my music on my external SD.
Then I found out that additional music has been saved to internal storage without whatsoever reason.
Cleared cache and started again: as before music has been saved to SD then again to the internal storage.
Did many times, same result.
I think that could be a telephone issue but if anyone has a different opinion is welcome.
