ERROR: Spotify not playing next song

Solved!

ERROR: Spotify not playing next song

I'm not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this. For some reason, Spotify will not automatically play the next song. This started happening after the newest Android update. Is there a way to fix this? I'm running Android 4.4.2 on the Galaxy Note 3. Thanks in advance.

Hi BiggBoiiB,

Good to hear it worked out for you! Could you tell us which version rolled out to your device?

Thanks,

Regards

Hey! I've had this issue on my LG android phone aswell, the solution that worked for me, and this was the only one, because clean install does not work. and reverting to and older version of the app is just silly: In the options you have to choose a bigger fade in fade out, than zero 🙂 then every song will play fine after that. the lowest one after zero is just fine

I have premium account, downloaded playlist for offline play, have tried everything in the forums with no success. Really a pain...

What only fixed the issue for me was downloading "spotify-4-4-0-991-multi-android.apk" (it's a beta for my surprise)

Remember to enable Install Unknown Sources in the Security Options to enable install apps not from PlayStore.
And also to disable automatic updates from Play Store app.

I hope they fix this soon.

I continue to have this issue. Noticed no posts after mid March. Tried installing old version which also didn't fix issue

It may be the power saving button oooor I'd you have clean master disable the amplified charger settings in the options I think it may shut off 'unecessary' power drainers and it gets caught in the cross fire

Disabling the app Clean Masters "Boost Charge" function worked for me.

Hi guys, If you are on Android and this is happening, simply turn off power saving mode. This fixed it for me.

Mine actually plays some random song in the list. Its annoying me and about to stop paying for it if its going to act like the free version.

This worked for me. Thanks
