My Question or Issue

I am not seeing the icon that removes songs from playlists that are auto-assembled by Spotify. I am not seeing it for songs or podcasts, and I am not seeing it in the queue, the player, or in the playlist description.

Hello @jamesaaronyork!

Thanks for coming to the Community. You should be able to see that button by clicking on the three dots button next to the song title (from the playlist view) or at the top right corner (from the song view). If you're not able to see it, can you try this from another device? It might also be worth having a clean reinstall of the app.

Keep me posted 🙂

Note: I'm not a Spotify employee.

Just attempted a clean reinstall of the app, and the problem is persisting.
I tried it on my computer last night with no luck either.

Hey there @jamesaaronyork,

Thanks for sharing this here in the Community!

Just to confirm, could you let us know the exact steps you take and how it looks for you?

Keep in mind that the option to "Hide this song" should only show up for tracks when using the mobile app, not podcasts. This would explain why you're having troubles seeing it there.

Further, to remove a track from the queue, you can follow instead the steps here.

Keep us posted! We'll be right here if you need more help.

Have a lovely day 🙂

On the "Daily Mix" Playlist, I see the hide and like options.

On the "Daily Drive" Playlist, it has a menu option with the shuffle, view
album, view artists and such. Beside the song name is a "Like", and below
the progress bar is shuffle, previous, pause, forward, and repeat. There is
no "I'm tired of this after three weeks of it being on this Playlist over
and over and over again" option.

Is there a way to let Spotify know that a podcast is wholly unwanted?
Thanks!

What if I accidentally removed a song and want to add it back?

Hey  @Tara_dSL,

Thank you for your reply in this thread.

You can undo disliked songs by following the steps in this article. Please note that this is not possible for the songs in Daily Mixes.

Hope this helps.

Hi how can I change the playlist cover image for a Morning Mix playlist automatically made for me by Spotify?

Hey there @MH1112,

Thank you for your post here in the Community and welcome.

It's not possible to edit the picture in your Daily Mixes or overall Personalized mixes created for you by Spotify. You can only edit playlists created by you. However, if you like, you could select the 3 dots > Add to other playlist > New playlist. That will create a new playlist with the songs included in the mix and that way you'll be able to edit the picture. Take into account that new playlist will not be updated or change as the Personalized mixes do.

Let us know if you have any questions!
