Equalizer

Equalizer

Galaxy S6 Edge

While i have music playing I can adjust the equalizer levels and/or turn bass, 3d, clarity....etc on/off and it does nothing untill i pause the song and hit play again for it to take effect. Won't change while music is playing at all.

Disabled "nuplayer" no difference.

Cleared un-installed and reinstalled, issue is still there.

Sounds like the equalizer has an issue. Are you using one from the play store?

It's the equalizer inside of Spotify itself.

Spotify doesn't have an equaliser on Android. tapping the EQ button in the settings just takes you to the stock Android one (or alternative if installed). Have you tried another EQ app from the Play Store?

On my S6 the equalizer works perfectly with Google Music. I don't believe the equalizer is at fault. I have to stop and restart the song for it to work on Spotify as well.

It did the same for me for offline synced songs. Using Note 4 5.0.1, stock equalizer.
