Error Msg - space

Error Msg - space

I have been using spotify for a few weeks with no problem. Today, I get this message:
"No SD card found. We have no space to store our data. Please check that you have a working SD card and free space."

Internal memory: 359MB
Internal SD card: 3.7G
Tablet: Visual Land Prestige 7G
OS: Jelly Bean 4.1.1

This is the space I have left over with Spotify installed and it was working fine for weeks just like that.

Hi. This isn't an unusual problem with android, I'm afraid. Do you have other apps which use the external SD card and can they still access their data or is the SD card unavailable to all apps? WHat make and model is the card?

Yes, Pintrest, Sound hound, Reddit, to name a few. It's an internal SD card that came installed in the tablet so I'm not sure where to look to find that info. The app has been working fine for weeks then all of a sudden this error msg, that's what stumps me.
In my settings under storage, I have a section for
- internal memory (382 MB available)
- internal SD card (3.7 G available)
- external SD card (do not have yet)

It shows that the app (24 MB) is stored on the internal memory and below where it states cache and data stats, it shows 411 MB on internal SD card. The button to "move to SD card" is greyed out also. Which is confusing because it appears like the app is stored in 2 places. There is Plenty of space on the internal SD card so I don't understand.

Exasperated

I also tried to do a clean reinstall but it wouldn't allow me to remove all traces of the app. (I went to my file manager to delete the folder)

What version of Spotify are you using - was it downloaded from Google Play?

0.7.4.610.gd7332b3 and yes

Coud you try another reinstall. First, if spotify will start, go to options and remove the cache then uninstall and reinstall from Play.

If it won't launch, go to android settings/apps/spotify and remove the cache from that screen before uninstalling and reinstalling.

Please power off and restart your device then launch spotify after the reinstall.
