My Question or Issue
Every song that's played stops briefly (~1 sec) after about 10 seconds, then the rest of the song continues without problems. Happens with every song, every playlist, always.
Internet is strong (44 Mbit / sec).
What could be the problem? What could be the solution?

Does clearing cache and cookies in Chrome helps?
If not, you can try out the Android app. Here's how this can be installed.
Clearing the cookies and cache from Chrome seems to work. Thanks!
We'll wait it out a few days to see if this is the solution.
Installing the Spotify App seems impossible on our type of Chromebook. It's not enabled.
Hey @bob17 ,
Welcome to the Community!
I recommend you to remove your offline devices, restart your phone and then reinstall Spotify
If that doesn't do the trick, let me know 🙂
Thank you for your suggestion!
I don't have any offline devices, so can't remove anything.
Restarting my computer (it's not a phone) and Spotify doesn't help.
Bob
I apologize for mentioning phone, I didn't notice it wasn't a phone. By the way, a clean reinstallation of the Spotify software could still help (instead of just restarting your device)
Apparently, other users had the same problem and they could get it fixed by following the steps in this Solution. Can you give it a try and tell me if it works?
Thanks again for the quick reply.
Clean installation (and restart of the device) did not solve the problem. In the web-app the problems are still there
I don't know how to apply the other solution to our problem, since that's for Windows and we have Chrome OS.
Would you have any other suggestions?

Glad to hear it worked! Let me know if the problem ever comes back.
Have a great day
It's sad. For a few days it worked, now that same hickup is back: every new song that starts plays for about 5-10 seconds, then pauses for 2-4 seconds and then resumes. The rest of the song is completely fine.
I guess the solution has to be something with cookies, since the problem disappeared for a few days. What would you suggest to try next?
Thank you very much for your help!
