Extremely slow momentarily fixed by changing permissions

My Question or Issue

I've had an extremely slow Spotify for 10 years now, all on Android phones. Uninstalling helps momentarily. Changing app permissions helps momentarily, but slowly reverts back to normal.

I try on wifi and 4G, all the same. The annoying thing is that something I loaded 2 seconds ago suddenly doesn't show up. Even offline playlists will load forever. It sometimes says " No internet detected" when I launch the app, but not always.

I have coped with a useless app for many years now. Come help out this patient and old customer. I'm tired.

Thank you for your post here in the Community. We're happy to help.

Can you perform a clean reinstall of the app? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this. After a reinstall you'll have to download you playlists again.

If that doesn't do the trick, can you log in with a different account on the device to see if the issue persist?
