My Question or Issue

I have kind of weird situation. I started using Spotify using my old Facebook account. I have since deactivated that account. The email associated with that is very old and I no longer use. I have started a new account with spotify using just me email address. The problem is the songs on my old spotify are still taking up room on my phone. I am not able to undownload them since I no longer have that Facebook account. I am trying to figure out if there is anyway I can get around this and undownload them another way to free up space on my phone?

Hi there.

You can follow these steps:

  1. Go to your phone’s Settings.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. Find Spotify in your list of apps, tap it.
  4. For a clean reinstall, tap Storage, then Clear Data.
  5. Tap Uninstall.
  6. Go to Google Play and install the Spotify app.

Clearing the data should remove the downloaded songs. For more info, you can go here.
