My Question or Issue

Hello,

Sometimes, i try to use spotify on me galaxy A8 but, when i try to launch it, it stays black. I see structure of the app (top bar background, separating line, main area background, bottom area background) but there is nothing in it, it juste show backgrounds of the different area.

Killing the app, emptying app cache = nothing fix it

The only thing i can do to fix the issue is reboot my phone

i tried reinstalling the app but the issue come back after a few launch.

Anyone can help with that ? Thank you 🙂

Hey there @adri-dlsr,

Welcome to the Community!

Sorry to hear that you're having such an experience with the app.

We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app. This is a bit more specialized than a normal reinstallation. Please follow the steps from this Spotify Guide exactly, as this will assure that all app data is cleared completely, before reinstalling.

Also, make sure that Battery optimization is not enabled for Spotify from the system app settings, as well as that the app is granted all permissions. These settings could be hindering the performance of the app.

Keep us posted on how you get on with this.

Cheers.
