Freezes contantly on Android (Moto X Play)

My spotify seems to lock up all the time and has taken over 20 minutes twice this week already just to load 1 artist. That's me sitting on my lunch break for 20 minutes just waiting in silence for anything on spotify to load on a perfectly fine internet connection.

I have tried not using an SD card and have ensured my phone isn't using more than 50% of its storage but it still freezes up probably 3 times a day.

It seems to be getting worse. Anyone else noticing this?

I'll be unsubbing if this continues.

I have the same issue but in a Huawei P9 with Android 6.0
The still playing music but is completly frezzed then I have to force close to get working again. Its starting to bother me
