My Question or Issue

On the desktop app, I can find and play the Friends Mix playlist. However, it is not possible to find it on the Android app. If I play it on my phone from the desktop app, it will start but when I try to open the playlist from the fullscreen control view on my phone, it instead opens to the album of the current song. It also doesn't appear in my liked playlists on Android; it jost shows a blank black playlist picture with no name that says it is private when I try to open it.

Hey there @wardi0,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

We appreciate the feedback you've shared here. However, this is actually the expected behavior for the Android app, as currently the Friends Mix experience is only available for iOS and Desktop apps.

Hope this clears things up. If you have any questions or need anything else, the Community is here for you.

Same here. The weiredest part is the fact that you can save the playlist (in the desktop app) to your library by liking it. And when you go to look for it in the Android app, it show's up "broken" or inavailable. Artwork is gone, and tapping it just leads you to a message saying "This playlist is private", and nothing else. Please fix this, sincne the playlist itself is really interesting, and it would be great to be able to listen to this on the device I actually use the most for Spotify.

The fact that it's available for iOS and not Android actually triggers me. Android is about at least 2-3 times more popular than iOS, and just the fact that Spotify prioritizes only one of the operating systems first and foremost, is just unfair and stupid. That's my opinion though. But since it's on iOS, I expect it to come to Android anytime soon now.

Saddly This Is A Lot Of Platforms. And the fact that 70% of mobile device users are on android doesn't seem to bother dev in big companies

Yeah right? To me, that doesn't make any sense. Spotify also is quite more versatile in iOS contra Android. They have more swipe functions etc. as well.

When does this get fixed?
