My Question or Issue

This never happened on my Galaxy S7, but I recently got my new S9+ and have found that when I start Spotify, my custom EQ doesn't 'activate' until I go through settings and select 'Equalizer'.

When the equalizer opens, it shows my saved custom settings and the music suddenly adjusts to suit them and it's fine for the rest of the time.

I'm not sure if this is a Spotify issue or my phone, but I would like some help if anyone else has experienced this or has a solution to the problem because it's annoying to have to open the Equalizer every time I open Spotify.
