Google alarm not working despite suggested fix

My Question or Issue

My alarm is not consistently connecting to Spotify. Sometimes it works, sometimes I get a beeping alarm instead, sometimes I get silence and sleep through my "alarm", and sometimes the song from the alarm wont stop playing.

I have also tried having Spotify open/not open on the background with no consistent success.

I opened a new issue as the other one is listed as solved, but the problem is definitely not solved for me.
