HELP PLEASE Spotify Premium downgraded out of the blue to spotify free

Ive been paying for spotify since april and havent had a problem but last night my android wouldnt play anything. I went on the website today to find that my account is a spotify free account, according to the website. There are also no reciepts of the payments on the website. This is just completely false considering Ive been paying for it since april and I have the bank statements that say "recurring purchase blah blah blah $9.99" since 4/2/12 and they have been coming every month since then.

 

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

 

does anyone know what I should do cause I dont feel comfortable with my credit card information and money being taken when the service I am paying suddenly dissapears. Its very troublesome and frankly wrong that there is no contact number to reach spotify.

 

Anyone have any idea what I should do

It looks like it is fixed now. try to log out an back in.

No nothing has changed. What made you say so though? (so I can better understand)

Hmm. Strange. You should contact spotify support again, with proof that you have paid for it.

Otherwise they haven't given you something you've paid for, and that can result in a chargeback!

Same thing happened to me, but the reason might be different.

 

I paid for premium using PayPal.  Recently, PayPal limited my account to perform an identity check for security purposes.  I checked my statements and hidden amongst my other transactions was a credit for $9.99 a few days before my Spotify account downgraded to Free.

 

Just re-subscribed directly with my card instead of PayPal.
