How can I change Playlist order?

How can I change Playlist order?

Hi,

when I go to "Playlists"  on my Android Phone I get all the "Downloads" listed on top, and my own Playlist Folders are at the bottom of the screen. I have to scroll all the way down for miles every time I want to listen to my Playlists as I have organized them.

Is there a way to put my Playlist Folders on top?

Thank you.

You can drag and reposition playlists in the desktop client and this will reflect on your mobile device. I organise my lists with folders so as to make finding what I want easier too.

I can reposition playlists but I can´t find a way to put them in front of the "Downlaods"....

My question kinda piggy-backs on the others.  My issue is that I have added songs by the same artist at different times on my playlist.  I want to know if there is a way to group ALL songs by an artist together, regardless of when they are added?  I have gone in and manually changed the order on my desktop, but it doesn't stay that way on the desktop and the change doesn't port to my android device.  ANY help would be appreciated.

Easiest way to do this is:

1. Order them how you want them on the desktop.

2. Press Ctrl/Cmd+a to highlight all of the tracks.

3. Drag and drop them into a new playlist.

4. That order will then be preserved on that playlist and on your android device.

Peter, this was VERY helpful!!  Thank you!!  I told my husband, I don't know why this NEVER occurred to me!  🙂  I was close when I clicked on the "Artist" tab and changed the order!  Why didn't I take that idea a step further and simply create a new playlist?  LOL  Anyway, thank you for the assistance!  😉
