How can i set up app so it jumps to the oldest unplayed episode of podcast?

There are several podcasts I'm trying to catch up on. Every time i open the page for a podcast, i have to scroll all the way through the ones I've played to get to the oldest unplayed episode. I know i can sort by unplayed, but many episodes I've skipped the last minute or two of, to avoid ads, so that doesn't help much. I end up scrolling through long lists of played (or mostly played) episodes until i get to what i want. Grumble.

Currently, it's not possible to combine more than one sorting options. However, we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us and will make sure to pass it onto the right team, as we always strive to improve your experience.

I’ve been having the same issue. Having to scroll through hundreds of episodes to find the one I’m on, because it always opens at the first (or last) episode. Worst part is this has only JUST started happening SINCE I UPDATED my spotify. And it doesn’t happen with all my podcasts, just the one I listen to the most. Gah!!!! SO, extremely frustrating. Wish I hadn’t updated. 🙈
