How do I add widget to lock screen?

I used to see a spotify widget on my lock screen but it's not there anymore and I can't figure out how to get it back. I have a Samsung.

Hey @CathyB29,

Would you mind testing  the following steps out:

1. Go to your phone Settings, swipe to and tap Lock Screen, then tap Widgets.
2. Toggle "Music" and "Show on always on display" on.
3. Go back to Settings, swipe to and tap Lock Screen, then tap Always on Display.
4. Toggle 'Show music information' on.

In this case, can you share with us the exact make/model and OS of your device, along with the Spotify version you have running?

On another note, if you perhaps have a Samsung device, would you mind trying the steps suggested in this thread to see if you notice any difference?

Lastly, if the above doesn't do the trick, we'd suggest performing a clean reinstall of the app on your device. By doing that the app can be up-to-date and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this inconvenience. You can do it by following these steps.

Thanks.   Clean reinstall solved my issue on my S20, Android 12.  Steps on referenced thread did not.
