How do I get audio to play on my Shokz Openrun?

How do I get audio to play on my Shokz Openrun?

Samsung A52s with Shokz Openrun.

Device is paired to the phone and other applications can play audio to the device. Spotify App recognises the device but audio playback is via the phone, not the headset. Any suggestions?

I have reset the Shokz device, I have repaired via Bluetooth, I have reinstalled Spotify app

Thanks for reaching out!

Try going to Settings -> Bluetooth -> Your headphones' Settings. 
See if all options are enabled (as other apps to work, this should be covered on your end already).

The next thing you can take a look at is the Media output device, located in your mini player:
 



If the issue persists and this doesn't switch the playback for some reason, after connecting your headset, go to Settings -> Sounds and Vibration -> Separate App sound -> add Spotify. Go back and select your Bluetooth device.
