How many more years do we need to wait before shuffle actually works?

My Question or Issue

 The following issue has been noted many times in the past by many other Spotify users: The Spotify shuffle feature does not work. It shuffles from only a small subset of songs, and that subset is almost always comprised of only newly playlist-added songs. The fact that I hear the same exact songs every time I shuffle a 1000 song playlist is just bad programming. In addition to this, lately the Android Spotify app will randomly forget that shuffle is enabled and will begin playing songs in the order in which they appear within the playlist, forcing me to turn shuffle off and back on again, which just makes the previously mentioned issue even more aggravating. How long do we need to wait for this to be fixed, how many more customers do you need to lose? I'm transferring my playlists to a competing service and cancelling.

I find this to be incredibly annoying as well!!! Please Spotify - make this better!!
