How to get Spotify to stop blocking calls

How to get Spotify to stop blocking calls

There is no option in my phone to make Spotify stop blocking my calls. I have been on the site here and done many google searches but I have had my limit.

I have a Moto G Stylus 2021.
I am using ver: 8.7.90.544
If I could up load a screen shot here I would. I have taking a full screen shot of the options / setting menu and nothing there will stop Spotify from blocking my calls.

I would like help because if this can not be changed, then I will have to cancel my plan and uninstall.

Update: I am now using a Samsung a53 and spotify is doing it again. Same problem. And still no option under the settings tab. Going to have to Uninstall and go back to youtube.

Hi there @Mycah_Loveles,

Thanks for reaching out. This is most likely not related to Spotify itself but to the phone's settings. It's worth performing a clean reinstall to remove all the cache and reset all permissions and settings related to Spotify. If after that the issue persists, we recommend contacting Motorola themselves so they can guide you as to what settings can trigger this behaviour.

Hope this clears things up.

It's doing the same thing on my Samsung a23 5g. Did you find a solution??

Hi there @ngosotransport,

Thank you for your reply in this thread.

First off, we'd recommend you follow the recommendations given by @Joan in our previous reply. If that doesn't help, it'd be best to contact Samsung support, as this is most likely related to a setting of the device itself.
