My Question or Issue

When I'm using spotify my screen automatically turns off after a few seconds, wich is natural and expected, but I often find this to be an inconvenience as I have to pick up my phone in order to unlock it, and so I have to pick up my phone everytime I want to change the playlist I'm listening to. My question is, is there any option that allows me to have my screen permanently ON while I'm using spotify? I've looked trough the definitions and I can't find anything that helps me. It would be really nice if I could somehow deactivate the option to "Turn off automatically"

The Spotify app does not currently have a built-in "keep screen always on" feature yet, however, it seems that an idea about implementing it has already been submitted here, so be sure to check it out and show your support.

Note that despite its status, the idea is open for voting, so you can still give it a thumbs up. We revisit such ideas on regular intervals and it just might be that their time would be right in the future.
