I can skip on another phone, but not on my new one.

Solved!

I can skip on another phone, but not on my new one.

Plan

Free

Country

Saudi Arabia

Device

Samsung J7 Prime (old), Huawei P30 Pro (new)

Operating System

(Android 7.0 and 9.0)

My Question or Issue

Hello! I just wanted to ask how the skipping works, just wondering why I can skip songs on my old phone without Spotify asking me to subscribe to premium. I tried skipping songs (from the same playlist) on my new phone and now it just asks for premium.

hey @arma597

If you use spotify free, the number of songs you can skip per day is limited.

You have to upgrade to spotify premium to listen without any limitations.

hope this answer your question.

I get what you mean, but what I am trying to say is that on my new phone, it is limited to 6, but my other phone has no limits when it comes to skipping.
