I can't turn down the bass booster

I turned off Spotify connect to be able to turn the bass boost up and it sounds horrible and now I can't turn it back down. Help pls

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome!

If you haven't already done this, would you mind clearing the cache within the app as it can cause different performance issues and then restarting Spotify? You can check out this help article.

Additionally you can give it a test on another device and if it's still not working, let us know if Bass booster just enables itself.

Another step you can try is via disabling the Equalizer.
