Hey there, @Kajaa,
Welcome to the Spotify Community! Apologies for the late reply, I just stumbled upon your post.
Interesting. Does this also occur with playlists/albums? Have you tried adding a song manually to the queue to see if you'd be able to remove it?
I'd recommend logging out and signing back in to your account - this forces an internal resync of the app that may help here. It also worth performing a clean reinstall of Spotify to rule out any potential issues with corrupted cache and ensure you're running the latest version available.
Let us know how it goes 👍
Hey there, thank you for replying.
I have tried logging in and out of my account as well as reinstalling the app but nothing worked.
If i add a song manually to the queue it works all right.
Otherwise the problem is always after the first song that i click on in search. So when the song i played is playing i cannot edit the queue that was automatically made from similar songs (i cannot remove songs nor change their order) but after the one i chose comes to an end i can edit the queue as i want.
Hey @Kajaa,
Thanks for getting back to us!
Could you let us know the make, model, OS version and the Spotify version currently running on the affected device?
It'd also be helpful if you could give it a try using another device to see if it makes any difference.
Keep us posted.

My Question or Issue
since the last update that added the new queue UI i cant remove songs from queue, like I swipe to the deleted direction and it shows the delete icon, but the song is still in the queue.
Thanks for joining the thread, @שקד!
Based on the screen recordings you have provided, you seem to be listening on an external device (earbuds, headphones, speakers, etc.) using Spotify Connect. Could you test if the issue would still occur when listening directly on your phones' built-in speakers?
Something else that's worth checking is if restarting the app fixes the queue. If possible, try switching to a different Wi-Fi network to see if it helps or test with mobile data instead.
Cheers 🤘
Hi have the same issue, but im on a vortex zg65 pro running android 13. I have premium too. When I manually add a sign I can remove with a awipe. Suggested sings show deleted by swipe yet persist, and anyway I don't want to take minutes to manually remove every song enqueued. And the clear queue button is just missing.
I reinstalled the app, I listen on home wifi, in mobile data, on wifi at the university but no change.
Ideas?
Hey @Ridikwobble,
Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.
We tried this on our end, but we couldn't replicate it. So first up, you mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one?
If this doesn't do the trick, would you mind sending us a short screen recording of the issue happening so we can take a closer look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).
Lastly, you can clear the whole queue at once by tapping on "Clear" on the upper right corner of the queue:
Keep us posted on how it goes.
