I cannot transfer my music which I downloaded to SD CARD

I cannot transfer my music which I downloaded to SD CARD

I cannot transfer the music I downloaded to my phone's internal storage to the SD Card storage. I could do this before, but I no longer see such an option in the settings (I did it about a month ago). Can you help?

Hey there,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

 

In this case, we'd suggest you try the following to see if you notice any difference regarding this behavior:

  • Performing a clean reinstall of the app. By doing that, the app can be up-to-date, and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this issue. You can follow the steps in this article to do it.
  • Softly reset your device. Turn off your cellphone, remove the SD card and insert it again, then turn on your phone.

If the above doesn't do the trick, we'd like to gather some additional info. So, please send us the following:

  • The make/model and OS of the affected device.
  • The exact Spotify version you're running there.
  • Does this happen if you open a different account on your phone? You can ask a relative or a friend to open their account on the affected device and check.
