I have Galaxy S24 and I don't get notifications from Spotify

I've checked that the Notifications permission is allowed on the settings of the phone, I've checked the notifications settings in Spotify

But still it's not working.

I'm thinking that you may not have selected the types of push/ email notifications you'd like to receive 🙂

Hi Vasil!

I actually did selected the types I want, I attach photo of the link you've attached

I've checked everything, that notificaions is allowed both on phone settings and in app settings but nothing works. Also tried to uninstall app and deleting every file related to the app in my phone, installed again, but still no success.

Can you please try to help me solve it?

Could you please provide us the following:

• If possible, can you test on another device and see if that works?
• When did this start happening? Did it work before?
• Do the email notifications work as expected?
• Can you send us a screenshot of the Android notification settings?

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate further.

Hi of course,

I did test it on a different phone (Galaxy S22) and did not get any notifications, now I switched to the Galaxy S24 and still nothing.

I don't remember if it worked before to be honest, I do remember there was a weird notification two-three years ago when I started my phone of "Spotify is trying to play..." Or something like that, but I couldn't remove it no matter what I tried, one day it didn't happen anymore.

I don't get email notifications as well when I think about it now, there is no rule of blocking and it's not in spam folder , I did search now for emails from Spotify and I did get some in 2020-2021.
