I have the Spotify free version and I haven't heard any ads for a few days. Is that part of the issue they're having? I know I should just enjoy it but it's tripping me out.
With Spotify free for mobile you don't get ads; however you can only listen in 'shuffle' mode and with 'suggested' songs thrown in. Please see the thread Subscription Comparison Chart for a comparison of the different subscription levels Spotify offer.
Not sure what Daniel meant, but the free version is supported by ocasional ads inbetween songs.
I was getting ads the first few days?
My friend checked hers and when she listens on her phone, she gets ads. ?

What is pre-paid Premium? Some kind of temporary service they give you to encourage you to subscribe?

It could be from your Network Provider or a trial subscription. As long as you dont setup payment details you're all good and will move onto the free version once the subscription has expired.
