I'm not able to play Local Files on my Android phone

My Question or Issue

Hey, I know there are a lot of posts about this, but the Local Files feature has been giving me problems since I started using it. I've synced Local Files to my Android phone before, but doing so has always been an unnecessarily complicated process, and the only solution seems to be waiting a few days and then trying again. I already have a playlist with all the local files in it, but when I try to download them on my phone it just says "Waiting to download" and the songs cannot be played.

My phone and my computer are connected to the same WiFi network, and the firewall clearly isn't the problem (I've even tried completely turning it off, but nothing happened). Uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it doesn't seem to be the solution either, and I don't wanna go through the whole process of redownloading over 1000 songs. Creating a hotspot isn't an option since I don't pay cellular data, and I'm not able to connect my phone to my computer's hotspot either.

I guess I'll just stick to what's worked for me in the past, but I already waited a whole week and nothing changed. Waiting also seems like a really lame solution, considering I'll probably sync more Local Files in the future. Things would be way easier if the feature was also available on the mobile app.
