So recently updated my spotify app on android. Everything looks fine, expect the library of songs got replaced with favorites. So that means i cant look up what song i have in my library. Also if i shuffe the favorites, it dosent really shuffle the songs as it plays the songs in that shuffle instead of making a new shuffle. So if anyone knows whats going on please help me.

Hmmm it looks like they're trying out yet another UI on some users. The screen shows that you are in "Playlists". Can you not swipe the header at the top to see if there is a more relevant selection such as "songs"?
There is no songs section
I doubt that even Spotify would prevent you accessing your song library. Keep exploring and you should stumble across it.
I've looked everywhere apparently it looks like it just disappeared. Im not sure if my phones doing this or what but its making me mad
You could try reinstalling following these steps and, if that doesn't work, contact Spotify direct as detailed on their About page.

It happened to me as well. Had the older version, and suddenly it wasn't letting me log in on my phone (but let me log in everywhere else). Some moderator said update to the latest version and it should work fine. Updated and was able to log in. But now the UI is just an absolute mess and I am not able to access my basic saved songs library.
Similar problem, except that icon second from the right is "Your playlists", and I don't get the menu at the top of the screen in the posted screenshot. I've searched diligently and there is no way to access my library at all.
Now, everything works fine on my tablet, it's just useless on my phone. I have an S7. A friend with an S8 has the same menus as my tablet, and all is well for him. Something is totally hosed in the latest update, because I'm seeing that everyone seems to have different menus and different problems. Everyone who is having trouble, that is, which seems to be a lot of people.
Yeah i still can access my song library in the desktop version but not the app version
I'm seeing a lot of people with similar issues since that update, but not much in the way of response or acknowlegement from Spotify.
Does anyone at Spotify even care that their app is essentially useless to a lot of potential users?
I have the same issue with the new UI.
Hope it gets fixed soon. Now I can only use the Windows app to play my library.
edit: at the time of writing this reply there was already an update or fix:
In the library tab there's a playlist called "favorite songs". Those are your saved songs.
