If a playlist is in shuffle, switching to normal only plays one song

My Question or Issue

When opening a playlist and changing from shuffle to shuffle off, it will only play the current song and then stop. To escape this I need to turn shuffle off and skip a song. Where this will take me back to the top of the playlist and not actually the next song in line.

Just to confirm, is this happening across devices or only on your phone? 

If it only happens on your phone, we suggest that you try logging out and then logging back in twice in a row. We know this sounds odd, but it will trigger a sync between your account and phone. 

If this doesn't do the trick, it's well worth running a clean reinstall of the app to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. 

If the issue persists, could you ask a friend or a relative to log in to their account on your phone and check if they can replicate this behavior with their account?

I'm having the same issue in windows and android app, and not only on playlists, in my Liked Songs is the same. When I switch from "smart shuffle" to no shuffle, instead of reproduce the next song in the playlist the queue is erased and when the current song ends, the app stops. playing music.

I've been having the same issue in my desktop app and my android phone. This has been happening for more than two days and is annoying. Also, please enable a way to permanently disabled smart shuffle.

After update 1.2.24.756.g7a7fc7f0, when I click the shuffle button on the now playing bar or under the playlists names, It looks like it is activated but when the next song plays it resets/closes itself.
