My Question or Issue

So I've been trying to import some songs from my pc to my phone. I was able to make a new playlist with the imported songs but when i tried to download them on my phone, it immediately say already downloaded and the songs would stay greyed out. I had those same songs downloaded before, but had to delete the app. I also checked that both of my devices are on the same network and i have enough storage. Help?

Hi there @hiyoritomoe,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Make sure you're following the exact steps from this article when uploading the local files.

Also check if the names of the songs contain any special characters or language specific letters and remove them. There is currently an Ongoing issue with local files that contain symbols outside of the standard English alphabet. Check it out here.

If your file names are alright, try using another network to upload them:

  1. Delete the songs from any playlist.
  2. Create a mobile hotspot from your phone and connect both the PC and your phone to that.
  3. Open both apps
  4. Reupload the files on your PC

Let us know how it goes 🙂
