Me parece lamentable que Spotify haya dejado de dar soporte a este tipo de dispositivos. Tras haber hablado con Spotify me instaron a que hablara con Pioneer para ver si tenían alguna solución. Pioneer me respondió que es cosa de Spotify no haber incluido este equipo (incluyo capturas de pantalla de la respuesta dada por Pioneer), y otros, en la lista de dispositivos compatibles.

Me parece un despropósito lo que está haciendo Spotify con estos dispositivos, entiendo que no son tan obsoletos como para no darles compatibilidad. Al final me he comprado un aparato con una funcionalidad que tenía que ya no sirve, con lo que me siento engañado y defraudado.

I find it regrettable that Spotify has stopped supporting this type of device. After talking to Spotify, they urged me to talk to Pioneer to see if they had any solution. Pioneer replied that it is up to Spotify not to include this equipment (I include screenshots of the answer given by Pioneer), and others, in the list of compatible devices.

It seems a nonsense what Spotify is doing with these devices, I understand that they are not so obsolete as not to give them compatibility. In the end I bought a device with a functionality that had no longer serves, so I feel cheated and disappointed.
