Issues downloading playlists after update on galazy s2

Hii,

I am having an issue on my Galaxy s2 that i have had previously a few months ago. Since i have re installed the app and gone to re downnload my playlists its getting to about 50 song in before it says there is no space left on the device which i know is not right. There are no more apps on there than yesterday when i hadd 3333 song form spotify on there. I have tried clearing the cache, trying differant dowload qualities, uninstalling the app, downloading a few songs at a time and nothing is working.

Please can you get this sorted as last time it took two weeks to fix the issue and that was just down to me trying and trying again but no fix was actuially advised to me.

I Love spoitfy and dont want it to crash on my phone as i love this phone!

Please help!!!!!

You might have to follow the steps here at this thread

http://community.spotify.com/t5/Help-Android/Android-Troubleshooting-Spotify/td-p/113082

Some android samsung galaxy users reported doing a full uninstall of the spotify app on android phones and cleaning things up before a reinstall fixed their issues and are waiting to see how the new app is responding now. If you follow the trouble shooting suggestions step by step in that thread post above you should be ok. It seems the new install just removed the old app and left the old download offline files on the devices without removing them automatically so the user has to do this first before installing the newer apps. From the way posts have appeared here is what I am basing all this on, as users are reporting device SD card memory filling up.

I have tried the teps below and seems to be working so far, am currently 25% through re downloading my soong, i willl keep you updated with the prgoress.

Thanks for the help so far!

I have tried everything as well. My time to sit around and play guess work for Spotify (which I have a premium account and I have been paying for several months now), is extremely limited. This problem only surfaced when I was forced to redownload the app before I could listen to my music again.

A little bit of advice? Don't ever do that again, please. I was at work, no wifi, no time to mess around other than listen to my music, but I couldn't because you guys felt it best to force this on us without notice. It's frustrating to say the least and almost made me give up on Spotify altogether.

I might still cancel my premium account and get rid of everything Spotify if this problem isn't solved for me. All I want to do is listen to music. I could before, now I can't. Why? Because I had to redownload everthing and no matter what I try by using suggestions on various recent posts, this hasn't been resolved for me yet.

I give Spotify until about Monday for it to start working for me again or I give up.

Sorry for your trouble but it was necessary according to the statement made on May 27th, 2014 15:00

It was a corporate CYOA move they had to do more than likely. I would not know this is just a user support message board meaning spotify workers show up from time to time but other users are just spotify app users and customers as well. App users who post here with suggestions to fix issues another app user might have.

I understand, but this still doesn't help resolve the situation. In fact, nothing seems to be working. All I want is to listen to all of the music I was once previously able to listen to.

HI, The steps you have advised have worked! Thanks for the help1
