Just downloaded music and it immediately got deleted

I just re-downloaded music that I had previously had downloaded and wit worked on a trip I took recently, when I got back on Internet all my music uninstalled and when I tried to reinstall it, everything I had just downloaded immediately got deleted. I tried to search for other people's queries to see if it was just my phone or the program and there were problems with this several years ago, in fact, a 15 page thread with a whole bunch of people's complaints from several years ago, which one would think would have been solved by now. Although I only paid a dollar for three months, that doesn't mean that it shouldn't do as promised. I don't want to switch platform's but I will have to if the service isn't going to do what it is promised to do.
