Keep getting this error check your internet connection and try again

Kindly assist me, when I use a link to direct me to Spotify, I get this error "something went wrong check your internet connection and try again" this is so annoying, even reinstall the app but still

I managed to solve this!!

(My problem was on the smartphone)

 

Solution 1: Go into settings and make sure offline mode is enabled. If yes, disable it.

 

Solution 2: Change the spotify storage location, it can happen that the application is not finding any configuration file in the current location, and when changing, it redoes these files (That's how I solved mine).
