Kobo Arc 7 Mobile or Tablet?

I'm thinking of getting a kobo arc 7 soon and I've heard strange things about what version spotify decides to use in 7 inch tablets and that often mobile is installed in them, particularly if they're not "popular" models. Does anybody here have a Kobo Arc 7 and know what version of spotify for android it gets? Thanks.

It's only gingerbread or honeycomb which can no longer install from the play store. The arc should work ok, but is recommend using the contact form (link in my sig) to get verification.

I'm sorry I meant if anyone had the arc 7 and knew if it got the phone version of spotify (with shuffle only) or full tablet spotify.

Hi there, I knew what you meant 🙂

The phone & tablet version is the exact same app installer.... however when it installs on your device it will check if the device is a tablet and if so, will enable the ad supported free play. That's why I was suggesting you contact support to see if they can check if that particular tablet is correctly identified by the Spotify app as a 7" tablet.
