My Question or Issue

Yesterday (14/04/2021), everything was fine, since this morning (15/04/2021) the app doesn't work anymore...

It is extremely laggy and crash anytime I try to play a song. Almost nothing load on the Home screen.

I tried everything advised in the topic "[Android] Troubleshooting Spotify" so I'm out of solutions.

I reinstalled, deleted data, cache, change connection, exit my account, remove my SD card, restarting my phone.

My Home page looks like this :

Funny enough, I can still see what song is played on my laptop and skip it with my phone if I want to.

So is there something with the latest update maybe ?

Thank you for your attention

Hey there @Basil9!

Thanks for reaching out to us, we'll do our best to help you sort this out!

We can recommend that you check the phone's battery settings and make sure that Spotify is set as an exception if you're using the battery optimization option.

It's also a good idea to check that Spotify has the permissions to run in the background.

If that's not causing the issue, could you let us your exact Spotify version and, if possible, if you experience this on other mobile devices?

We'll be on the lookout for your answer and we'll see what we can suggest next. Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you in the meantime.
