My android pixel would play in my car fine every time I got in and out when my liked songs were sorted by when added. That's how they've always been. I decided to sort them a to z and now it will not play them in order each time I get in and out of my car during the day. They instead shuffle even though shuffle is off. If I start a song in my liked songs with me selecting a song then they will play in the order they are listed a to z. But when I get back in the car later that day it will play the song it was on when I left the car earlier but then it shuffles them. It's very frustrating, I have to every time getting back in my car - change songs on the app by selecting them to get them to play an order and not shuffle. Oh, and I have family premium. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.
This type of issue is commonly related to pending updates in either of the apps or some damaged cache stored on the devices. In this case, we'd first recommend logging out and back in following the steps in this article to refresh the sync between the account and your devices.
We'd also suggest performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article to make sure there’s no cache affecting the proper behavior of the app.
If the issue persists, include in your next response the type of connection you're using between your smartphone and your car (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AUX) to have a better look at the issue.
We'll be on the lookout.
I have logged out and back in, uninstalled and reinstalled, clearing all storage and still the same problem. I connect in my car via Bluetooth. Thanks.

Can you check if the Shuffle Button is green (active) and if you have any songs loaded up in your Play Queue when you return to your car some time in the day, after initially sorting the Liked Songs?
It could be that when your phone connects to the car's BT it automatically loads up a queue of songs, since it last played your Liked Songs.
Keep us posted on how you get on.

Taking this into account, it looks like you're having this Ongoing issue. Please note that despite the fact that it's set to "Not Right Now", you still add your vote there. The status means that we don't currently have an estimated time for a fix, but we hope it will be as soon as possible.

I just wanted to add an update on this, I replaced my phone with a brand new phone. I have the same symptom on this new phone, I did not change any settings when I install the app. I just sorted from a to z.
